iCloud is supposedly backing up my iPhone, and when I go there, I can see photos are backed up, but I cannot see where all my files are being backed up. Am I missing something? Anyone can help?
We all know that iCloud is a syncing system, not an external hard drive. If your iPhone/iPad/iPod gets lost, damaged, or stolen, you can do a completely restoration to get back documents from that backup. However, you cannot see any backup contents on iCloud, the backup files must be restored to an iOS device and this will result in further data loss. Since you cannot find the location where all of your files backed up, maybe you should find a third-party too which can selectively back up your iPhone data and make them readable.
iFonebox is such a professional and trusty program that can help you handle with up to 17 types of data including contacts, photos, videos, voice memos, call logs, safari history, notes, messages/iMessages, reminders, calendar events, QQ messages, WeChat data, WhatsApp data, etc. The following are some of its highly useful features:
- It’s very easy to use and 100% safe
- Separately back up only iPhone data without backing up the entire device
- Its preview function makes selective data recovery quite easy
- It’s compatible with almost all kinds of iOS devices
- It is also ideal for recovery of data directly from an iOS device, making it useful even if you didn’t have a backup of the lost data.
If you synced your device to iTunes or iCloud before, it’s ideal for viewing and extracting data from an iCloud backup file or iTunes backup file. Besides, some of the deleted data on your device may already be on that backup. Hence it’s capable of showing you all the recoverable data by scanning the backup in depth.
