How Do I Transfer Messages From Old iPhone 5 To My New iPhone 6s ?

I am trying to transfer text (SMS) messages from my old iPhone 5 to my new iPhone 6s+. However, in my iCloud backup drive there doesn’t seem to be an option for text messages to be backed up and therefore capable of being restored to my new phone. Can anyone offer any advice? Thanks.
